No. Not all click wheels are compatible with iPod 5th/5.5th Generation. When selecting a click wheel, make sure it is specified for 5th/5.5th Gen. 5th Generation uses click wheel part numbers 821-0545-A for white and 632-0258-A for black.

iPod 5th Generation uses part number 820-1763-A and an 820-1975-A for 5.5th Generation. Both logic circuit boards are available in 32 MB & 64 MB of RAM. A 32MB model logic circuit board is for a 30GB and 64MB is for 60GB and 80GB.
